I don't usually use my blog as a place to express my sadness, but I woke up today and did not want to get out of bed. I was feeling down, feeling downtrodden, feeling like curling under the covers and staying there all day. I am normally a quick waker upper (my own word:)). Ready to take on what life brings. Today, as I saw the sun peeking through the window and my husband sleeping sweetly next to me. I shuffled to get away from the sun, when my husband put his hand in mine and said a soft heart touching, " I am so proud of you."
My cranky heart melted away. As much as I wanted to keep my grumpy pants on. I could not. My husband is amazing, so thoughtful, and those words were just what I needed to hear.
I hope you hear what you need, to keep you going, keep you inspired, keep you true to you.
It is a long journey to find what it is we are looking for in life. Validation being one of those components, but sometimes if you stop searching and just be. A calm brings direction, brings truth, and brings out inspiration in everyday moments.
As the day progressed and work subsided. I was looking through some pics and this one stuck with me.
Free, is the word that comes to mind when I see this photo.
If no one has told you lately, "I am proud of all you do! All of your hard work. For you just being you!"
