Sometimes you meet a family and you know! This is going to be fun! I met the Kass Family at Pacific Beach and they truly inspired me with their ease in front of the camera, their generosity, and their love for their daughter Sydney...who stole the show :).

{Wish}

Today is a special day! It is Parker's Birthday!!! 

Parker, You were my wish! When I was younger I prayed and prayed and prayed for a soul mate...I wished for one on every Birthday and every penny I threw into a well...I didn't know it at the time, but I was wishing for you! I didn't know until our hearts met that it was possible to love soooo much! Everyday, every moment of our life is such a blessing...just when I think my heart is full, you do something so sweet, like sing with me in the car at the top of our lungs or surprise with lunch from my favorite sandwich shop, or when you are watching a funny video and you laugh til you make me cry, then we are both laughing or how you are so supportive of all your friends and family! My heart runneth over! On our first date I knew you were special...I couldn't sleep for a week, by the way...what is that!?

My heart was thrown for a loop when I met you and everyday since has been amazing! 

I wish you the most amazing, fun, and joy filled Birthday! You deserve it!!! xoxoxo

If you know us, then you know cookies are their own category of dessert, so I baked a "A cookie cake", yummy! Hope he likes it :)!!

So what are your plans for the weekend? Margaritas on the beach perhaps, a little sleepy time, or maybe spend some time with your Dad. I've got a family session and some fun stuff planned for Parker's birthday! wooo hoo! As I looked at this photo it reminded me that life can sometimes throw us some shenanigans that are fun, sometimes not so much, but all along we can turn to our family and friends for support, love, and some good old belly laughs...

I had a family session recently at the beach and the little girl looooooved her friend the Sock Monkey and as she hugged and held her buddy. I was struck with tenderness and thankfulness...

What can I say?! I ADORE this family! Peter their son melted my heart from his first smile!

Peter loved to be tickled and sing, which was almost too much cuteness for one session...I enjoyed every moment hanging out with this family!

We had some delicious sugar cookies as a snack, which is always fun!

{Picnic at the Park} San Diego Family Photographer

Happy Monday friends! How was your weekend? 

Actually, I took the last week off to get some organizing completed...our bedroom won't know what hit when I'm through :). 

Plus, I've been shopping online like a mad women(which is amazing...shhhh don't tell my husband) 

and we had a mini-golf tournament this weekend, which I am still smiling from our victory! 

To top it off yesterday Parker and I savored the deliciousness that is the Date Shake! Truly it is life changing :)! Phew for a vacation I feel like I did a lot, but all soo worth it.

I'd love to start the week off with a fun fun fun family session! We had such a great time putting together this Styled Session for Meghann, Rylan, Mason, and Sean! Parker ranks donuts as one of the top dessert categories...so he was thrilled when he saw these...
