{Brooklynn- Little Blessing Session}

Babaaaaaaaaaa and cute little giggles accompanied my session with my adorable niece. She would grab a leaf and my sister would quickly dash over to take it out of her hand before it got to her mouth (a few made it though:)). Then, my sister would grab the leaf and Miss B would laugh and laugh. It was a game to her. I almost died from cuteness overload. Anyway, I could tell lots of stories about her because I am truly smitten! 

8 months. 8 months! Wow! And she is growing so fast. From getting her first teeth to sitting up and rolling every where she needs to go, and I can't forget lots of new foods. She looooooves prunes and is not a fan of squash. Who knew babies were so picky? Anyway, I love to hold her in my arms and give her kisses. 

During this photo shoot with Miss B, she wore a gorgeous hand crochet dress. The blue really brings out her eyes. Don't you think?

This ones makes me laugh everytime I see it:) 

 Taking photos of little babies is incredibly fun and amazingly rewarding...I just loooove it!

{Inspiration of the day}

It is amazing what you can do with paper? These images are from Confetti System. 

An inspirational company that makes all kinds of decorations, lamps, displays, backdrops, and all things gorgeous! I am in love! I wish I were this creative, but it certainly does inspire me to be better, to think outside the box, and to dream big! I'll never know unless I try. These are all cliche sayings I know, but they are completely true in this instance. 

2011 is a year to be unabashedly invested in overcoming my fears...wish me luck!

I absolutely love weddings! We had the honor of being chosen to capture Luis and Joyce's wedding this weekend. Here are a few preview pics! I can't wait to show the rest! We had so much fun and what a whirl wind. This was our first wedding and we had so much fun, more on that later...

{Design Inspiration}

Hello my lovelies, I have missed you during my time away. It was soooo nice to sleep in until 1pm (I know how lazy, right?). But sometimes doing what's unexpected feels so right! I took long walks, didn't cook once, and we went apartment hunting. We found a cute place with lots of little nuances, that is close to the boardwalk, and my husband will get a man cave. He is super excited! I found the perfect spot for my work station (mini-office) looking out a gorgeous window with a hint of the ocean in the distance. It will be my refuge and I cannot wait to decorate. Eventhough, moving can and almost always is hard. I find it can be a great time to reorganize, pair down, get back to basics, and maybe buy a few new things:).

I love the grey walls and stripes, plus writing with the chalk is genius for an apartment.

I love the galvanized metal with the sleek white shelving...and more chalk :)

I neeeeed to get organized and this pantry looks so pretty. Everything is easy to find and so adorably neat too! I just want to pinch it...What a concept? Our new kitchen is pretty tiny, so this will be key.

{Missy + Zane} Smitten Session Part 1

Hello, I hope you are doing well on this beautiful Friday. How was my vacation? Oh thanks for asking! It was positively delightful and now we are getting ready for our first wedding tomorrow. I am so excited, nervous, anticipatory, and all of the adjectives of that nature.
 I am also very excited to post Missy & Zane's engagement session...
It is amazing when you meet a person who just gets you, as you are. In an instant you are laughing, telling stories of old friends, explaining political views, and before you know it...hours have gone by, the sun is peeking over the horizon, and you are in love. Hands down, can't live without this person love. 

 And when you meet Missy & Zane you know their love is real. 

It is true and it is infectious!
