{Wish}

Today is a special day! It is Parker's Birthday!!!

Parker, You were my wish! When I was younger I prayed and prayed and prayed for a soul mate...I wished for one on every Birthday and every penny I threw into a well...I didn't know it at the time, but I was wishing for you! I didn't know until our hearts met that it was possible to love soooo much! Everyday, every moment of our life is such a blessing...just when I think my heart is full, you do something so sweet, like sing with me in the car at the top of our lungs or surprise with lunch from my favorite sandwich shop, or when you are watching a funny video and you laugh til you make me cry, then we are both laughing or how you are so supportive of all your friends and family! My heart runneth over! On our first date I knew you were special...I couldn't sleep for a week, by the way...what is that!?
My heart was thrown for a loop when I met you and everyday since has been amazing!
I wish you the most amazing, fun, and joy filled Birthday! You deserve it!!! xoxoxo
If you know us, then you know cookies are their own category of dessert, so I baked a "A cookie cake", yummy! Hope he likes it :)!!
Happy Parker's Birthday everyone!!!

{Random Polaroids}

Hello on this sunny Thursday! I thought I would compile a few of the random polaroids I've taken over the past few weeks. I adore my polaroid app and someday I'll get a real polaroid, but until then this suits me just fine. I'd love to hear some of the random things you love or that inspire you in the comments section.
First off, flowers brighten my day! I love seeing all the petals unfold into blossoming tulips! Gorgeous!
Yummy yummy in my tummy!
Who doesn't like frozen banana's?
I liked the silouette of this little tree against the blue sky.
Sunsets are gorgeous for two reasons...
1. angelic
2. calming
My heart glows...
How could I not take a photo of this cow dressed in Paul Frank PJ's? It made me stop, point, and laugh out loud...too funny!
I love winter sunsets! The clouds are oh so fluffy, like big pillows beckoning me to float away:)
And finally we decided to take a photo of ourselves. Sadly we tried this 4 times and this was the best we got:), that's me off in the corner. Hehe!
 Happy Thursday!

Enjoying Winter- {Polaroid Session}

These are some new polaroids via my I phone app called shake it photo.
(This is our attempt to have a mini-photo session.)
I've been cooped up in our apartment, so we went out for a winter walk. The air was refreshing and I am feeling much better:).
I am hoping, a big hope, for a real Polaroid for Christmas(hint hint).
Happy Winter to you too!

Happy Wednesday!

{We went to Disneyland...}

Hello Everyone! I know I've been away awhile, but we went to Disneyland! We haven't been in over two years so we decided to take a Southern California Vacation...we drove up the coast and stopped at Newport for lunch, then to Disneyland we go!

"In the Tiki Tiki Tiki room..." it's so happy, so endearing, I love it!

And you know I love my ice cream...and this one is amazing! There is a little place in California Adventure that is not soft serve...wait for it...it's soft serve ice cream and it is delicious!

If you haven't  been on the steam boat it is a treat...

Do you recognize these?
I love the look of the tea cups, but they make me sick :( .
Dumbo is a great ride to people watch...the kids get so happy!
And they brought back Captain EO! I was 6 when I first saw this and I was taken to a new world...I was sad when they changed it, but now we can change the world :).
(Don't you just love the glasses:))

Happy Tuesday!

I am thinking it's a sign that the freckles
In our eyes are mirror images and when
We kiss they're perfectly aligned
And I have to speculate that God himself
Did make us into corresponding shapes like
Puzzle pieces from the clay
And true, it may seem like a stretch, but
Its thoughts like this that catch my troubled
Head when you're away when I am missing you to death
When you are out there on the road for
Several weeks of shows and when you scan
The radio, I hope this song will guide you home

They will see us waving from such great
Heights, 'come down now,' they'll say
But everything looks perfect from far away,
'come down now,' but we'll stay...

I tried my best to leave this all on your
Machine but the persistent beat it sounded
Thin upon listening
And that frankly will not fly. You will hear
The shrillest highs and lowest lows with
The windows down when this is guiding you home

Blissful Summer

I often sit at my desk typing the day away, editing in the photoshop vortex, and then like a light bulb illuminating a darkroom I realize I should get some fresh air. What a concept, right
Who would have thunk? Go outside? Yes.
I often loose time or time goes by very fast, but one of my absolute favorite things to do is ride my yellow beach cruiser with my hubby along the boardwalk. I love the feeling of the wind, the smell of the salty air streaming by me, and most of all I love to people watch.  Kids building sand castles. Grown ups trying to catch kids. And a variety of other characters to choose from.
I adore the sound of the ocean crashing onto the shore, so much force, yet so simple, so natural, so amazing.
Have a blissful summer!

A Wedding via Polaroid...

Parker and I attended a friends wedding as guests...I adore weddings from the moment the bride and groom see eachother walking down the aisles to committ their hearts to eachother to the cake. (Oh how I love cake:)) I t was really nice being a guest, but I had to take some pictures. I did not bring my fancy camera, although I debated whether or not to for about 15 minutes before we left for the 3 hour drive to Burbank, CA.
Brian & Sara were married at the beautiful Calamingos Equestrian Center in LA. The grounds were picturesque, something out of a Jane Austen novel. Here are a few photos...

The place settings were rustic, yet simply elegant.

I love this chandelier!

They used milk glass bottles with numbers painted on them for table markers.

The first dance!

All the happenings...chatting, mingling...fun times!

This a different Iphone app...called tiltshift. You can edit photos right after you've taken them.

Now for the food...
A scrumptious salad with pinenuts and orange slices. The main course was so filling I could almost not eat my cake, but I managed to find some room:).

The cake was vanilla with layers of strawberry and vanilla custard with a sweet butter cream frosting.

(This will be gone soon. )
Congratulations Brian & Sara! Thank you for the lovely evening...We wish you a lifetime of joy and lots and lots of laughter:)
